I am so pleased to have been selected as the Interim Principal at Hanna Woods for the 2026-2027 school year.  I look forward to becoming part of the tremendous team that already exists at Hanna.  It is obvious that the staff here is dedicated to the success of every child.

I am a retired principal from the Affton School District here in St. Louis.  I have roughly 25 years of public school administration experience including 15 years as principal.  I have been filling in for principals and assistant principals in the Parkway School District for the past several years including as the Interim Principal at Sorrento Springs Elementary in the Parkway School District for all of last school year.  I keep returning because I enjoy working with the students and staff.  I truly believe the children keep me young.

I have two children that graduated from Parkway South high school and are currently attending college.  My son is pursuing a degree in education hoping to become an elementary school teacher or a school counselor and my daughter believes that she would like to become an attorney one day.  I'm proud of them both and of the education they received from the Parkway School District.

I look forward to getting to know your children.  Please do not hesitate to contact me if you need anything.

It is an honor to serve as Hanna Wood's assistant principal. I enjoy every minute of supporting our teachers, students, and families who make this school community the absolute best around!

I spent my childhood in New Jersey before moving to St. Louis to earn my bachelor's, master's, and specialist degrees in elementary education and education (K-12) leadership. I also hold a superintendent certificate.

Prior to joining Hanna Woods in 2024, I was assistant principal at Northeast Middle in Parkway, as well as an assistant principal, instructional coach, and classroom teacher in the Ferguson Florissant School District.

My husband is a firefighter, and we have three children spanning from 6th grade to kindergarten. We are also foster parents, and so our family is ever-changing. I believe that every child is capable of great things and my role is to help each one know that.
